The ACE TESOL Certificate/Diploma Program is an ESL teacher-training course with 100/120 hours of classroom instruction and a 20/30-hours supervised practicum. The course is offered twice a year in an intensive format or part-time.
Using the ACE Method, trainees explore teaching, learning and language trough task-based, participatory and interactive experiences.

The following topics are covered in the course:

  1. Teaching and learning theory
  2. Current methodology
  3. Lesson and Unit Planning
  4. Teaching Language Systems & Skills
  5. Testing and Evaluation
  6. Preparing Students for Standardized Tests (TOEFL, TOEIC)

The content in based upon the most recent research in language acquisition and language education. Students entering the ACE TESOL Certificate Program must demonstrate a strong proficiency in English to gain admittance into the program.
